So this game, taking double the time, better be THE best goddamn game I’ve ever played. God of War justified the 4 years put into it because it was just an exquisite experience playing through it and the excruciating detail put into it was prominent. Now, I’m not a patient person, but I am willing to exert my limits if I know the rewards will be tremendously fruitful and satisfying, to say the least. That would make it 9 years of work into releasing a game. So the worst case scenario estimate of this game’s release is another 3 years away. I’ve also heard that the game might be geared towards the next-gen consoles, which are at least 2 or 3 years away. But it’s been 6 years, no game yet has justified that much time put into it. Yes, I’m aware that you were working on The Witcher 3 and also that this game is more larger in scale, hence requiring more work and more time. I haven’t the foggiest idea when it’ll release and this is why I’m really annoyed with CD Projekt Red. This kind of game is right up my alley and I was so impressed with it that I shall undoubtedly pre-order it… when it releases. In my opinion, the way they presented the trailer was lame, as anything even remotely ambitious presented in E3, usually is.
All we knew was it was a massive open world single-player RPG. All of this excessive dramatism was fueled by our love for that blasted song. We attempted in vain to forget about this game, for it looked like it would never be released in our lifetime. Since then, there has been an unpleasant combination of anticipation and anguish at the lack of details about this game. The rest of the night was spent listening to the song on repeat while playing a certain online third-person shooter game called ” Shadowgun: Deadzone.

” Bullets ” by Archive was as befitting to this trailer as EA is to bad games. What me and my friend particularly loved about the trailer was the song in the trailer. I am a massive fan of genres such as this – futuristic, digital and just so “blade-runnery”. Precisely five years ago, my friend showed me a video, saying ” Dude, check out this game trailer, it looks amazing !”.
